The Silhouette Session is a refined, in studio portrait experience designed to capture your family in a clean and timeless way. Photographed against a seamless black backdrop, these sessions focus on profile and light. The result is simple, striking artwork that highlights the features and likenesses you never want to forget.
In a short, guided session, we’ll position siblings, parents, children, or even a well behaved dog or cat in side profile, carefully aligning each face so the composition feels balanced.
To achieve the seamless look that defines this style, all participants should wear a solid black top with no logos or patterns. Simple, fitted clothing works best so the focus remains entirely on expression and form.
Every session includes a thoughtfully edited collection delivered in a private online gallery. The finished portraits are bold yet understated, making them ideal for large wall displays, heirloom prints, or documenting each stage as your family grows.
The Silhouette Session is minimal by design. That simplicity is what makes it timeless.
SESSION DETAILS
Each session includes a 20 minute in studio experience photographed against a seamless black backdrop, gently guided profile positioning, professional editing and retouching, and a curated set of high resolution images delivered via digital download through a private online gallery. A print release is included for your convenience.
Your final gallery will include one individual silhouette of each child photographed, along with one stacked sibling portrait. The session price includes up to 4 children. Additional children may be included for $20 per child.
Should you wish to expand your collection, additional images, prints, and heirloom quality products are available for purchase à la carte.
