YOUR
QUESTIONS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What sessions do you book?
We primarily photograph expectant mothers, newborns, and families. Established clients can schedule milestone sessions including cake smashes. We also offer senior portrait sessions for high school or college graduates.
DO you deliver every image you shoot?
No, we do not. We eliminate test shots, duplicate images, missed focus, shots with poor expressions, etc. We handpick the best images possible to provide to our clients in an online gallery.
Do i have to buy print products from you?
No, you don't! You will receive high-resolution digital files and are able to print them anywhere you like. We do have the option to purchase print products through our professional lab, but it is not required and there is no minimum order.
Where do you photograph sessions?
For newborn sessions, we have a dedicated studio in College Station. For outdoor sessions, we will discuss with each client the best location choice for their family. We use various locations in the Bryan/College Station area. At this time, we do not offer clients the option for us to come to their home or travel outside of BCS for their session.
can we bring our PETS?
Absolutely! We welcome any pet to join the portrait session as long as they are well-behaved and on a leash. It is a good idea to bring someone that can help with the pet when he/she needs a break.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Yes! We love mini sessions and offer limited seasonal or themed mini sessions a few times each year. We post sign-ups for those mini sessions on our social media pages.
What if inclement weather occurs?
Texas weather can definitely be unpredictable! If inclement weather occurs for an outdoor session, such as rain, overcast skies, extreme wind, etc. then we will reschedule. Discretion is left up to Lauren & Sarah to determine if there is a need to reschedule due to inclement weather conditions.
What is your sick policy?
We require clients to inform us if any individuals traveling to a session have experienced illness within the last 72 hours and reschedule for a date when participants are healthy. Symptoms include, but are not limited to: fever (99 or higher), vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat, cough laryngitis, hand/foot/mouth, chicken pox, COVID-19, RSV, and influenza. The Client understands it is mandatory to notify the Photographer and cancel the session if there has been exposure, symptoms, or diagnosis of COVID-19. The Client also understands they will be asked to leave if they arrive presenting symptoms of COVID-19 and it will be up to the discretion of Lauren & Sarah if the session will be rescheduled.
When we will receive our images?
In the weeks following your session, we will carefully choose the best photographs and hand edit them to perfection. On average, our clients receive images within 4-6 weeks. Peak season may take up to 8 weeks.
Some babies start out life at 10lbs (!) and are already 11lbs at their newborn shoot (!!) and just look at you the whole shoot like they`re a 3-month-old. This is a newborn! We were so impressed. This is Clay, he`s wonderful.
When you realize the parent holding you isn`t the one with the milk. Lols.
Wrenley on the inside, Wrenley on the outside! 🥳 The sweetest little girlie, and I loved the colors her mom picked for her shoot! :) Wrenley had casts on her little feet for club feet, we hid them in most of the images, but also took a few showing them as they`re part of her story. <3
This is the third newborn we`ve photographed for this little family, and I must say they make exceptionally adorable people <3
