The Heirloom Session is designed to preserve all of it, from the way your baby fits in your arms to the joy of siblings meeting for the first time. These portraits become part of your family’s story, something you can look back on for decades and share with generations to come.
THE EXPERIENCE
Our signature newborn experience is calm, unhurried, and completely tailored to your family. We handle every detail, from posing and lighting to the curated wraps, bonnets, and props, so you can relax and enjoy this rare time together. The studio is warm and welcoming, with a comfortable seating area stocked with refreshments such as cold water, hot coffee, and hot tea. Professional lighting ensures every image is beautifully lit, and each selected image is then meticulously hand-edited to smooth skin tones, remove distractions, and create a refined, natural finish. You will have the freedom to pause for feedings, diaper changes, or simply to take a quiet moment with your baby while we prepare the next setup.

Stunning Results
Lauren and Sarah did a photo session for my granddaughter. I told Lauren that the mothers favorite animals were elephants and bees and they incorporated them both into the photos beautifully. We gave them creative freedom and I could not be happier with the results. These ladys are both sweet and professional in every way.

My goodness it`s cold outside!* It was also cold outside when we had this family scheduled and under a certain point (usually 45 degrees, but depends on the people and outfits and windchill) we offer you a rescheduled date or a different location for a shoot and this family picked the studio!
*Sorry about the "wintery mix" in the forecast this weekend, my 8yo always prays for snow on his birthday and he`s pretty effective 😆
Some people were meant to be twin parents, and never have I felt more assured that a set of parents was ready for twins then these two. They are chill enough they didn`t find out the gender of their babies before birth, and yet on top of things enough to be EARLY to their newborn shoot? (This never happens). Truly impressive. How perfect are Theodore and Franklin?
The Andersson family is brand new to College Station and already winning at life because their realtor surprised them with a family session gift certificate when they closed on their house. Realtors, take note! This is the kind of closing gift that actually gets used and actually gets loved.
They showed up ready for fall photos and were an absolute dream to work with. And yes, we are wildly behind on posting all of our fall sessions, but honestly I choose to believe it just adds to the charm at this point.
So welcome to College Station, Andersson family. And please ignore the fact that we are posting this approximately seventeen years after fall ended. We’re doing our best.
There are two types of baby hair I particularly enjoy; the type my babies had, (which is none, you will find yourself reminiscent for the type of babies you had as an old lady like me) and the type Julia has, which is happy and spiky hedgehog hair. <3 Just the cutest little lady!
